LISA BREFERE
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER


A graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, the first woman apprentice to graduate from the American Culinary Federation Apprenticeship program, author of three highly acclaimed John Wiley culinary text books, Lisa has held numerous positions as Executive and Corporate Chef, director of Operations for Multiple concept portfolios and Managing Director for Multi-million dollar F&B venues. In 2001 she started her own consulting and advising company, GigaChef solutions (GigaChef.com) specializing in re-aligning large venue operations with concepts, programming, efficiencies and financial responsibility celebrating 14 years in operation. Current projects include creating, directing and curating a variety of arenas, food halls and amphitheaters with partners such as Forest City Ratner, iStar, Golden State Warriors and Green Coast Enterprises. Prior to this extensive work, Lisa has held a number of professional positions including Pastry Chef, Banquet Executive Sous Chef and Executive & Corporate Chef in fine dining rooms, country clubs, catering and hotels, such as Greenwich Country Club, Hyatt, Highgate & Hilton Hotels, Abigail Kirsch Catering Relationships and Flik Hospitality. Lisa is an active member of the Culinary Institute of America’s Alumni Counsel, American Academy of Chefs (AAC) and the American Culinary Federation (ACF). She resides in Purchase NY with her family.

A senior consultant for 10 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers specializing in web-based application development, Frank is credited with building over 40 active web sites for Fortune 100 clients with many different navigation, security and design features. Frank is an IBM Certified Associate Developer.



CHRISTOPHER MINNICK
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT


Christopher has a robust career in business strategies, marketing and corporate affairs that spans over a decade and a half. Having worked in the world of Six Sigma for many organizations, he understands how to measure the quality of our businesses that strives for near perfection. He adds the level of data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects in any process or project – from manufacturing to implementation and from product to customer service.

With 8 years in culinary product development / marketing and degrees from UVM and New England Culinary Institute, Zach's areas of expertise are both wide and varied. Being a veteran of dozens of kitchen engagements, Zach's easy demeamor and can-do attitude mean things get done right and with efficiency.



JOSEPH BREFERE
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CHEF


With over 30 years of experience in a variety of positions, including Executive Chef, Sales manager- Corporate Chef- Center of the Plate specialist and Culinary Project Manager, Joe has the expertise to take concepts and interpret their direction into reality with operational efficiencies, profitability and scalability. He has in-depth knowledge of how to commercialize products “from recipe to consumer market”.



JOANNE HICKS
PROJECT COORDINATOR


Joanne has over 25 years as an administrative professional. Having worked in government public relations for Pepsico, she now brings her skills to support the GigaChef team. She is responsible for scheduling meetings, arranging travel, coordinating deliverables, and overseeing the CEO’s calendar.
